What exactly do girls look for in a guy? Part 2

1. Honest & Trustworthy
By far one of the most important traits that a girl looks for in a guy is honesty. Girls want a guy they can trust. In this day and age trustworthy people are few and far between so if you are an honest person, you are already one step ahead of the competition. Honesty is the key to any healthy relationship. The last thing you want is for your girl to feel insecure. If she thinks that there is even a remote chance that you will lie and cheat on her, your days will be numbered.

This of course doesn't mean you can't bend the truth on certain occasions. There are always some situations in which a lie is not such a bad thing. For example if you meet your girl's mom and she is an absolute freak-fest, you tell her that she was great and seems like a wonderful person.

2. Handsome & Sex Appeal
This one is pretty obvious but still very important. While is isn't completely necessary to be good looking to score a date, it does give you a little head start. Let's face it, men are attracted to beautiful women and women are attracted to handsome men. This doesn't mean you have to be Jake Gyllenhaal to date a pretty women but it sure does help. That being said, being handsome will only get you so far. You still have to combine your good looks with some of the other traits I talked about here such as confidence, honesty and spontaneity.

A good personality can go a long way. Even if you lack in the department of sex appeal, you can still date beautiful women. You just have to be confident and be able to make a girl laugh.

3. Family Oriented
Girls love a guy that is involved with his family. Girls dream of having a family of their own so it is very important to them that you are close to your family. It shows them that you are caring and appreciative of the life that your were given. They know that if you are willing to let them get close to your family that the same will apply when it comes to them.

Also how you treat your mom is usually a good indicator of how you will treat your girlfriend so keep that in mind. If you are sweet to your mom, chances are you are going to be sweet to your girl and they realize this. Girls love a guy that is super sweet to his mom.

4. Spontaneous & Fun
This one is pretty simple and to the point. Girls want a guy that is fun and exciting. They want someone who knows how to have fun and not someone who just wants to sit at home and watch tv. Spontaneity is the key to a good relationship as well. They want someone who will bring them flowers out of the blue or surprise them one morning with a romantic vacation. Variety is the spice of life and with girls it's the thought that counts.

Something as simple as throwing together a little picnic with a bottle of wine and surprising her by taking her out to a private location, will sweep her off her feet. A little spontaneity can go a long way.

5. Personality: Nice & Loving
Having a good personality is very important when it comes to dating women.
