5. Independent
It is very important that you are independent and can support yourself. Women want a man that can take care of himself and doesn't need the help of others to live day to day. In other words it is definitely not a good idea to live at your parents house. Women hate a mommy's boy and want someone who can cut his own path in the sidewalk of life.

If you are currently living at home, get a job and move out. You don't want to have to take your date back to your parent's house. It is not cool and will definitely turn off the woman of your dreams. You don't have to go out and purchase a house right away but at least rent an apartment or a townhouse.
